I’ve been trying to reduce my household footprint without completely overhauling everything at once.
There’s a ton of advice out there, but I’m curious what actually makes the biggest difference early on.
Things I’ve looked at so far:
-
Switching to LED lighting
-
Adjusting thermostat habits
-
Reducing food waste
-
Cutting back on water usage
For those who’ve already made changes — what had the biggest impact for you right away?
Would be great to hear what’s actually worth prioritizing vs what just sounds good.

For me it was HVAC adjustments. Sealing a few drafty spots and being more intentional with heating/cooling made a bigger difference than anything else early on.
